What this directory is

DFW Metroplex Real Estate Agent Guide is an independent directory covering 384 real estate agent businesses across the DFW Metroplex. It exists for home sellers and buyers who want a fast, honest way to compare agents before they pick up the phone. Instead of relying on a single review site or a friend’s recommendation, you can see how agents in Dallas, Fort Worth, and the surrounding suburbs stack up against each other on the same set of measures.

We also generate enquiries for local providers. When you ask to be matched with an agent, we pass your enquiry to a provider relevant to your request and may receive a referral fee for that introduction. This never changes how a business is scored or ranked. Full disclosure of any referral relationship sits on the individual review pages themselves.

How listings get built

Every listing starts with public business information: license status, office location, service area, years active, and similar facts you could verify yourself. We layer in a synthesis of recent Google reviews to understand how each agent is actually performing with real clients. We do not copy or republish review text. Instead, we summarize the patterns we see and link out to the source on Google so you can read the original reviews yourself.

A business that finds an error in its own facts, a wrong phone number, an outdated office address, can ask us to correct it. What no listed business can do is edit its own score, its sentiment summary, or its position in the ranking. Those come from the data and the rubric, not from the business being reviewed.

How rankings are earned

Rankings follow a published rubric, laid out in full on our /methodology/ page. It scores agents on factors like review sentiment, responsiveness, transaction volume, and consistency over time, not on who pays us. When sponsorship is present on the site, it is labelled “Sponsored” and displayed in its own separate section, clearly apart from the earned ranking. Sponsorship never moves a business up or down the list.

Who publishes it

This directory is published by DFW Real Estate Review, an independent editorial site run by Marlene Quade, a licensed Texas real estate agent (TREC #826490) covering the Dallas-Fort Worth market. The publisher’s broader work reviews cash home buyers, flat fee MLS services, iBuyers, and discount brokerages against that same published methodology, reporting both what works and what doesn’t. Marlene Quade, Managing Editor, maintains editorial oversight of the rankings on this site. Data refreshes monthly across the directory, and each listing carries a “last verified” stamp so you can see it’s being actively maintained rather than left to go stale.

Nothing here is meant to be the last word on any single agent. Read the sourced Google reviews, check the methodology, and use the “last verified” date to judge how current a listing is. If something looks wrong, tell us.
