Corrections, disputes and removals
Every real estate agent listing on DFW Metroplex Real Estate Agent Guide is assembled from public business information, and every score comes out of the same published rubric applied to public Google reviews (ranking method). No business pays for placement here, and payment never changes a score. This page sets out how to request a correction, dispute a score, or ask for removal.
Corrections to your listing
Factual fields on your listing, including your business name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, and services offered, can be updated when you provide the correct information along with something we can check it against, like your website or your Google Business Profile. Once applied, corrections stay in place even when the directory refreshes its data in future months.
Challenging your score
Your score is never changed by hand. If you believe your score is wrong, you are disputing the input data itself, not asking for a higher number. Common disputes claim that your profile was matched to the wrong business, that reviews are assigned to you in error, or that a review summary misrepresents what reviewers actually wrote. When you dispute a score, we check the sources again and rebuild your listing from the corrected data.
Requesting removal
Listings are removed when a business has permanently closed, when a listing is a duplicate of another entry, or when a business falls outside the scope of this directory. The monthly re-verification cycle automatically catches and removes closed businesses. An accurate, in-scope listing may be declined for removal, and we will tell you why plainly.
